About the Founder
Founder Nick Charles (usually introduces himself as Charlie) has over thirty years’ experience in property maintenance, focusing his business solely on gutters since 2019. He is meticulous, thorough, and committed to high standards. He is passionate about his four children, environmental conservation, and his classic VW Beetle. A childhood gymnast, he works safely and comfortably at heights following appropriate Health and Safety practices while relishing the challenges of complex access and tricky repairs whilst you remain safely on the ground.
The Gutter Tech Method
Having fully assessed the access to every gutter - at point of quote - we use a combination of ladders and industrial vacuums to achieve the best results every time. While clearing the gutters we look for and report to you any obvious issues at the roofline. We only water-test on clean gutters, ensuring we don’t cause blockages further along.
Other common approaches such as the hand-and-bucket, and high pressure water flushing methods can cause damage, mess, or just push all the debris into the downpipe or soakaway where it causes future blockage problems.
