Blocked outlet in Cringleford
Here the gutter was overflowing whenever it rained...
The gutter was overshadowed by trees and the gutter was full of leaf matter...
After initial vacuuming, a balloon guard was discovered under the surface of leaf matter - in this situation a balloon guard is essential but might need cleaning every three months.
This had been left long enough for the organic matter to work through the balloon guard and well into the outlet and swan-neck of the downpipe...
We were able to clear all debris from the gutter, balloon guard, the outlet and swan-neck so that the water could flow away through the downpipe, safely away from the property.
